Undergraduate Interns (Summer 2026) Showcase

The Undergraduate Interns Showcase marked the conclusion of a six-week collaborative internship between the Courage Museum and the UC Davis Department of Human Ecology. Working in interdisciplinary teams, undergraduate students used research, empathy interviews, systems thinking, and design methods to create prototypes that support students, educators, and families before, during, and after a museum visit. Their final concepts included a youth leadership summit that helps students stay connected and take action, a family conversation tool that supports dialogue from the museum to the home, and classroom resources that help teachers prepare students for meaningful engagement.
